Large Loop
The longest and most varied route also takes you through towns and villages, where you will discover historic sites and interesting landmarks. The trail then returns to wild river valleys, passing cliffs, waterfalls and mysterious stone ruins hidden in the forest. Several river crossings add to the adventure.
Medium Loop
This route combines peaceful forest trails and hilly sports tracks with adventures in deep river valleys. Along the way, you will discover springs, sandstone cliffs and ancient ruins reclaimed by the forest. Several river crossings make the hike particularly exciting and more challenging after heavy rain.
Small Loop
The shortest route is ideal for those who want to experience Vidzeme’s forests, rocky river valleys and river crossings on a shorter but adventure-filled hike.
